I have finally finished a few costumes, but have so much more to go! These were so fun to make and I can't decide what my daughter will be...even though if she had her choice she would be the fairy!

Vacation and Ella Dresses

We had such a great time on vacation! Bradenton Beach was so peaceful. Although it was peaceful and wonderful to soak my toes in sand and ocean, there is always a fantastic feeling about coming home. I have been trying my hand more and more at making some of my daughter's dresses using awesome resources out there, like Livin' With Punks' blog to help me. Here is the Ella Dress I made using her pattern.

Summer Fun

Just had a fun summer bash in the backyard with about 30 friends. We had a slip n slide, burgers, Jimmy Buffett, sparklers, the works. Friends, food, and fun...I can't think of a better way to start our summer! Just finished a tutu for Sesame Street themed party. I hope Kora loves it!

Teething and Dancing

My little one is teething. Bless it. For those of you without the pleasure of a real teething experience, that means runny nose, cranky, and lack of sleep...and then there's the baby and her symptoms.

I'm so excited though because I am able to participate in something I love and have not been a part of in a long time--dancing. Now, not just going out and dancing but performing. Oh, and I'm dancing daily to rehearse the whole thing. Given, it's my little elementary school's talent show and the teachers got together to do the evolution of dance 2, but it is going to be great! I'm just too excited!

I'm so ecstatic!

My blog is finally getting off the ground (design at least) to where I may be able to broadcast it to others!

Baby and I are getting better and temp outside here in sunny Georgia is looking up for the rest of the week. I have the sun smiling its beams on my face as I write on this fantastic blog. Anyone ever sit and think, "Wow, I am so thankful for this moment, this day, this hour?" I know the Lord gives and He takes away. I am so thankful for this day. Life is never too rough we have to go it alone or get stressed out. In the next five years most of what we worry about won't even matter. I'll just leave it on that and say...happy thoughts!

Feeling a bit ill

Feeling a bit ill today.

 A bit tired of being sick. You would think after teaching for five years I would've caught every creepy crawly thing under the sun. Oh well, it could be much worse. I'm done complaining. :)
